Check Out the Big Updates to Bookinglayer’s Digital Waivers
From detached waivers to a better overview of all waivers, our latest improvements make handling liability waivers easier than ever. Discover the key updates to Digital Waivers in the breakdown below.
1. Waivers Are Now Separate From Bookings
Digital waivers can now be detached from bookings. This is great for returning guests, who do not necessarily need to sign a waiver every time they make a booking. With this update, you can not decide how often returning guests need to sign a new waiver. For example, once per year.
2. Improved Digital Waiver Management
The new system centralizes waiver management in one location. While previously you needed to edit waivers as PDF templates and add them to products somewhere else, you can now access everything you need regarding waivers in one place.
3. We Expanded Waiver Relations
The new updates allow you to set waiver requirements not only for products but also for locations and Backoffice categories. Now, you can ensure that waivers are automatically added when certain products are selected in a booking.
4. Custom Waivers
An exciting update coming with Customer Portal 2.0, which will be launched in November, is the ability to create custom digital waivers. With this feature, you can make sure that your liability waiver covers everything your business needs. You can also tailor the specifics of the waiver to the individual activity it relates to.
5. Enhanced Waiver List
The waiver list now displays both signed waivers and those that still need to be signed, providing better visibility and easier management. With this expanded view, you can also quickly see which guests still need to sign liability waivers before participating in an activity.
6. Batch Downloads
You can now batch download selected waivers. When you select this option, a ZIP link with all of the corresponding files will be sent to your email.
7. A Must-Read Setting
To address concerns about participants not reading digital waivers, we have added a force-to-read option. If this setting is enabled, guests will need to scroll through the entire waiver before they are able to check the checkbox accepting the conditions.
8. Automatic Email Reminders
You can now automatically send reminders to participants or guests with unsigned waivers. Without adding tasks to your to-do list, this feature helps ensure compliance. Plus, guests are ready to go when they arrive at your location, and you don’t need to spend extra time during check-in sorting out waiver signatures.
