Payment plans allow you to split the total booking amount into multiple installments, collected from your guest at different points in time. For example, you might collect a 30% deposit at the time of booking, a second payment 60 days before arrival, and the remaining balance 2 weeks before the retreat starts. Each installment can be charged automatically to the guest's saved card on the date you set, so there is nothing to chase manually and nothing your guest needs to action after their initial booking.

Without Bookinglayer Pay, payment plans are limited to two installment segments and do not support automatic charges, refunds from the Backoffice, discount incentives, or integrated reporting.


With Bookinglayer Pay, all guests in a group booking are required to complete their first payment to confirm the booking. This ensures every participant is financially committed before the booking is finalised.

Yes. Bookinglayer Pay securely stores guest payment details so you can charge them later for extras, remaining balances, or onsite purchases - without asking for their card details again.

You can issue full or partial refunds instantly from your Backoffice. There is no additional fee to process a refund. Note that the original transaction processing fee is not returned.
